The Dance Academy of Stuart has performed this holiday classic Nutcracker for eleven years in Martin County. The Academy performs five to seven shows each year, with two performances for Martin County elementary school children as field trips. Our Nutcracker Ballet follows the time worn tradition of the ballet based on E.T.A. Hoffmann's book The Nutcracker. Our dancers delight the audiences with magical dolls, falling snowflakes, a soldier cannon shooting cheese at mice, and Clara's bed that floats across the stage. This timeless Holiday classic has been delighting audiences in Martin County for thirteen years and will become a staple artistic treasure for years to come.
